Quiet. Darker than even the most impossible void. Nothingness. In the woods, nothing moves. Except I. I sit quietly. Quiet enough to hear my own heartbeat. Too quiet. Alone. Imagination flurries across the mind. True darkness hiding anything. ANYTHING. Fear and unrest overtake. But dawn approaches, Revealing the Twisting shades. Tree stumps shaped like wandering children. Earthen Hounds between spindly plants. But yet, nothing still. Await, I shall, in my blind. And I await my prey.
